Planning and Instruction: Physical education teacher candidates plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with local state, and national standards to address the diverse needs of all students

Element 3.1: Teacher candidates will design and implement short and long term plans that are linked to program and instructional goals as well as a variety of student needs.
Artifact: Adapted Physical Education and Sport Top Down Plan

Reflection: In Adapted Physical Education and Sport, each student was assigned a student with a disability ranging from mild to severe. Each student was required to create a top down plan for their specific student based on their potential motor skill capability. Here is an example of my  Top Down Plan.

Reflection: After working with your BOCE's student for serveral days and learning their motor skill competencty and ability each student was required to create an Individualized Education Plan. Each plan focused on long-term and short-term goals and also included life-long fitness expectations. Here is the example of an IEP ,I created for my student.
